 Erich with his patented side break shotgun. This photo is dated 1930, However Douglas states that his Mother put the dates to the photos. The clothing and mustache fit the era, The gun is a top thumb lever.   The center shotgun is the only picture we have of that is or appears to be identical to his patent. Update Nov. 2009 I was sent pictures of a 16Gauge underlever Shotgun with 2 triggers.
